Artistry Through Observation
Glass has always fascinated me because it exists somewhere between science and art. At over 2,000°F it behaves like a liquid, yet when it cools it preserves every decision—and every accident—made in the flame. That combination of precision and unpredictability is what continues to draw me back.
I create one-of-a-kind borosilicate sculptures and functional vessels inspired by the hidden patterns that exist throughout nature. Neural networks, geological formations, planetary landscapes, cellular structures, flowing water, and astronomical phenomena all share an underlying language of repetition, growth, and complexity. My work explores those relationships through layers of transparent color, precious-metal fuming, and optical depth.
Every piece is made entirely by hand in my Washington studio.
Rather than pursuing identical forms, I embrace variation. No molds are used, and no design is repeated exactly. Each vessel or marble develops its own character as the glass responds to heat, gravity, and motion. The finished work captures a moment that can never be recreated.

The Chromatic Series
The Chromatic Series investigates the emotional and architectural qualities of color through bold geometric compositions, refined proportions, and the interplay between transparency and opacity. Each vessel explores how color alone can define space, mood, and visual rhythm.
The Neuronic Series
The Neuronic Series explores the visual language of interconnected systems. Inspired by neurons, mycelial networks, river deltas, and galaxies, each sculpture contains thousands of microscopic connections suspended within transparent glass, inviting closer inspection and rewarding every change in light. These works examine the universal structures that govern growth, communication, and complexity.
The Nebula Series
The Nebula Series is inspired by the birthplaces of stars and the vast clouds of dust and ionized gas that drift through deep space. Built from countless transparent layers, precious-metal fuming, and luminous internal atmospheres, each marble captures the illusion of looking through millions of miles of cosmic depth. Swirling currents, glowing cores, and suspended veils of color create compositions that evoke stellar nurseries, planetary nebulae, and interstellar clouds. Every piece is an imagined celestial landscape—an exploration of light, scale, and the beauty of the universe beyond our reach.
